It amazing the 2nd wind you can get..........

It's 12:30 am Tues. and the last phone call I received was 40 min. ago.  A  member in the surgery room stating to me that they were "sewing in the new liver as we speak". It will take some time to see that everything is working correctly but said the surgery was going smoothly with no complications thus far. He said it could be done as early as 3, but that was on the early side. As first I didn't think it was going to be possible to stay up all night. But so far, so good. I've got 2 of Dan's brothers to keep me company....and a niece (although she's the one sleeping). Now to go get that coffee.........
